JOB HUNTING - where I have found gigs...

CRAIGSLIST
BEWARE OF THE CREEPERS ON THIS SITE!!!
But still, I have found awesome low budget films (copy, credit, meals), to day rate films ($100-450/day), to awesome voice over gigs ($300/hour), to really really lucrative print work ($12 K for four hours). I've also met people that are less than honest and take you around for a goose chase while "getting to know you."

CASTING CONNECTION
Molly runs this site and it started out in the Bay Area, but has now expanded to Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles.

ACTORS ACCESS
The actor's self submitting area to breakdown services.

NOW CASTING
I use this site mainly for updated casting labels. Most of the jobs there are commercial LA work.

SF CASTING
Beau Bonneau's Bay Area Casting Site. I've gotten awesome feature film work from here.

BE THE CHANGE

Non-profit organizations that have my support!

CORA
Provides free and confidential services to victims and survivors of domestic/dating violence and abuse, including child and teen witnesses, in San Mateo County. Services include a 24-hour hotline, support groups, legal services, emergency and transitional housing, and more, in English, Spanish, and Tagalog.

KIVA
Kiva is the world's first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. The people you see on Kiva's site are real individuals in need of funding - not marketing material. When you browse entrepreneurs' profiles on the site, choose someone to lend to, and then make a loan, you are helping a real person make great strides towards economic independence and improve life for themselves, their family, and their community.

THINGS THAT I THINK ARE FULL OF AWESOMENESS

HAPKIDO
Where I learn my numchuck (lol.) skills. Plus, the head instructor is my boyfriend, so I have to admit, I am slightly biased ;-P

David Noles
One rad bad-ass photographer. He spent a whole day with me and basically gave me a tour of the coolest backdrops in LA. Plus, we almost got kicked out of the Getty Museum for our undercover bad-assness.
